Learning by experiencing

In the training courses run by In Tense Safety Training, learning by experiencing is central. You carry out assignments and experience for yourself how your behaviour influences mutual communication and cooperation. You will start to realize that your behaviour is a deciding factor for your own safety and that of your colleagues. And that is the starting point for behavioural change.

The assignments are a metaphor for your own work situation. You complete them outdoors – at our outdoor locations – or indoors – with the materials from the In Tense Miracle Kit*. Due to the active work form, an 'in-way' is laid for talking about attitudes and behaviour. The work form is very accessible, very non-threatening and makes a positive contribution to working in a team situation, breaking habits and improving the quality of everyone's actions.

Solution-focused

We work in a solution-focused way: a constructive and effective method of work, aimed at the future – your future. We do that because experience has shown that analyzing problems for longer and in more depth doesn't lead to better solutions . Instead, it is more effective and more pleasant for you to chart the future you desire, to recognize all the things you have already developed, to examine what areas you need to work on, and to prepare a plan of steps for this. For the people who participate in our training courses, the solution-focused method of work leads to measurable improvements and gives a great feeling of satisfaction.

* The In Tense Miracle Kit is a unique package of exercises for effective experience-orientated learning, which can be used at practically every location.
